The best thing about the Four Seasons Gresham Palace in Budapest is the view. My first tip, is make sure you get a balcony suite.Â You will see the awesome iconic view of the Palace lit up at night. Itâ€™s a dreamy moment to open the windows or floor to ceiling doors at night and see the castle in all its glory.

The rooms are all unique and different because it was built in a real palace and the Four Seasons was required to maintain the architecture.Â So even though you might not get this exact room in the picture, you will get high ceilings and a unique room layout with art deco features on the windows ans around the lobby and staircases.

The rooms are huge and so is the bathtub where I got a decent soak after a long day walking the gorgeous city.Â If you book with me, I can get Virtuoso benefits like free category upgrade and $100 food & beverage credit.

It is within walking distance to all the hot spots. I was there right after Christmas and some of the Christmas markets were still active selling cute ornaments, yummy hot wine and delicious spicy sausages.

The lobby is like walking into a fairy tale especially if you go at Christmas and see all the decorations.

The lobby has a bar where I ate a comfortable and delicious salad and breakfast was really great at the unique Kolasz brasserie.

The Ritz Carlton has a more modern feel, which is very popular with business travelers.Â The downstairs entrance, breakfast room and piano bar are still authentic 1900s style with amazing stained glass ceiling hovering over you while you dip on you cappuccino.Â There is also a beautiful roaring twenties feeling at the spectacularly beautiful bar.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Itâ€™s in the heart of the action. You can walk everywhere and see most of the highlights. The breakfast area and bar are a real treat. Worth a tea break even if you donâ€™t stay at the hotel.

If you want the amazing view of the castle you will have to take the rooftop penthouse, which boasts itâ€™s own private indoor pool. You can follow in the footsteps of Hollywood stars, since most of them stayed at this hotel when shooting movies in this popular destination.

It strikes me as a bit older, but cozy hotel with the Ritz Carlton classic service and delicious food.Â If you book this trip with me you also get some amazing amenities like free breakfast, upgrade upon availability and $100 food & beverage credit.

The hotel has a really cool bar where you can grab a drink and enjoy the street views and other who see and want to be seen.

The best thing about the New York Palace Hotel is it’s restaurant and cafe.Â If you want to look at some of the most unique architecture on the planet while enjoy a delicious and unique meal, this is a treat not worth missing.

An elegant and opulent 19th century building, the New York Palace hotel is worth a visit even if it’s just for coffee and dessert.Â The rooms are elegant and it has a high rating on Trip Advisor.

It is not a Virtuoso hotel, so I cannot add amenities and it probably does not make the cut because of service (which is listed as the only downside on the Trip Advisor reviews).

The Budapest New York Cafe (pictured here) is crowded with tourists from outside the hotel, but the lobby is peaceful and some parts of the restaurant are saved for hotel guests who want a quieter experience.Â I only visited the restaurant and lobby, and the food was pretty goo, but the service is slow.Â Still I consider it worth a visit just for the experience.

The worst rating of the hotel goes to location, since it is a few minutes taxi from the action in the center of town.
